The Choir returns this Sunday!
As August 2019 draws to a close we wave a fond farewell to hymns chosen by members of the congregation and welcome back the choir: hopefully refreshed by their Summer break but certainly triumphant after their successful tour to Peterborough Cathedral!
The theme for our worship during September is “Generous God” starting this Sunday with “Generous in Wisdom”.
Autumn promises to be a truly fruitful and busy time at St James, with Harvest Festival, an early October “Come and Sing” Evensong, Katie’s Induction as Vicar, All Souls, Remembrance Day, and a further Advent “Come and Sing” as just some of the highlights.
