  • Sunday 2nd January – Christmas 2. As we are still in the holiday season so we have just one service today at 9.30am. Fr Clive will be leading and our Reader Serena will be preaching.
  • Sunday 9th January – Feast of Epiphany normal services resume and choir returns for this festive treat as we remember the coming of the Kings.
  • Sunday 16th January – Name Tag Sunday – (9.30 am only) Have you spoken to someone so many times it is embarrassing to ask their name now? This is the answer to your prayers – name tag Sunday is when we ask everyone to have a name tag – and there will be an opportunity within the service to speak to a neighbour and find out their name. A great way to speak to people you might not know yet – in a relaxed and fun service.
  • Sunday 23rd January – Week of Prayer for Christian Unity – with sermons at all the services exploring prayer. If you have a question about prayer, why not send it to Mother Katie before January 18th and she will see if she can answer it in her sermons!
  • Saturday 29th January – Winter Quiet Afternoon – a mini retreat led by Mother Katie (booking required) – take time out for yourself and God. 2.30 – 5.00 pm in church – with refreshments.
  • Wednesday 2nd February- a slightly longer mid-week communion to celebrate Candlemas – lots of candles, music, readings, and time to reflect – midday.
  • Sunday 6th February – Special Service at 9.30am to celebrate 70 years of Queen Elizabeth II on the throne! We invite you to wear the colours of country – red, white or blue! With special tea and cake after the service.
  • Saturday 19th February – Quiz Night! With Fish and Chips – all welcome! (Our last Quiz night raised over £300 – and reviews of food and fun were all 5 stars – make sure you don’t miss out!)
  • Wednesday 2nd March – Ash Wednesday. We are offering two services for Ash Wednesday – midday shorter said communion and a full communion with music at 7.30 pm – both in church.
  • Sunday 6th March – First Sunday of Lent and launch of the Lent Book Group which will meet every Sunday after the 9.30am morning service in the Lady Chapel. Coffee and biscuits provided.
  • Saturday 12th March – Lent Quiet Afternoon 2.30 – S.00 pm in Church led by Mother Katie (booking required).
  • Sunday 27th March – Mothering Sunday
  • Sunday 10th April – Palm Sunday
  • Thursday 14th April – Holy Communion for Maundy Thursday 7.30pm followed by the Watch
  • Friday 15th April – Good Friday
  • 10.00 am – Walk of Witness
  • 12.00 – 2.00 pm – Around the Cross (interactive and all age prayer stations and activities)- a drop-in activity- stay for 10 minutes or two hours!
  • 2.00 pm – By the Cross – a reflective service for Good Friday with space for meditation and silent prayer.
  • Saturday 16th April – Easter Vigil – 9.00 pm with the lighting of the Easter Fire and followed by prosecco after the service.
  • 17th April – Easter Day – He is Risen!
  • 8.00 am – Said Holy Communion
  • 9.30am – Festal Holy Communion followed by Easter Egg Hunt for all the family
  • 6.30pm- Sung Evensong

    • 12.00 noon – Celtic Communion led by Mother Katie (15-minute service) in church, followed by coffee and an opportunity for chat or private prayer.
    • 5.00 pm – Facebook Evening Prayer led by Mother Katie
    • 6.00 pm – Children’s Choir in Church
    • 7.30 pm – Community Choir in Church

    • 5.00 pm – Facebook Evening Prayer led by Mother Katie
